TUCKER'S CLAY | New Bright White Porcelain
Tucker’s New Bright White is the replacement flor the Bright White which we have manufactured for many years.
One of the important ingredients in Bright White was EPK which is not currently available and we have no indication if and when it will be available in the future.
They have adjusted the recipe using a combination of domestic and European kaolins to create a clay body that we feel is even nicer to use and which fires as white as the Bright White.
The New Bright White has a very smooth buttery feel and is very easy to throw.
It is a pleasure to trim and no extra care is needed for drying.
It is excellent for pulling and attaching handles.
Hand builders will find The New Bright White to be perfect for slab, coil pots and pinch pots.
Wet-to-dry shrinkage: 5.5%
Total shrinkage at cone 6: 13%
Avg water absorption at cone 6: 1%
Each box contains two 10 kilogram bags for a total of 20 kilograms
